Where should I start if I'm new to the range?

How are the stamps made?
Every stamp starts as an original lino cut on my workbench. The rubber is made from that artwork using a photopolymer process that uses about 95% less energy than traditional rubber stamp manufacture. The wooden handles are made in the UK from sustainably sourced beech.
Which type of ink should I start with?
VersaFine Clair is the most versatile for the range — it works on every detailed stamp, dries quickly and is waterproof once set. Colour choice is personal: Nocturne or charcoal for classic black-line work, Camellia Red for warmth, Smoky Blue or Deep Green for something quieter. Pick a colour you'll genuinely enjoy using — there's no wrong starting point.
Can I stamp on fabric, wood or kraft paper?
Yes — with the right ink. Use VersaCraft for fabric and wood (heat-set after stamping for permanence), or Stazon for non-porous surfaces like acrylic, glass and metal. Kraft paper works beautifully with any pigment ink; just press a little more firmly than on coated card.
How long do the stamps last?
With normal use and basic cleaning between ink colours, the stamps last for years — the photopolymer rubber is durable and the wooden mounts are made to handle. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth between uses; for pigment inks, an alcohol-free baby wipe lifts colour cleanly without damaging the rubber.
