Custom logo stamps

Custom logo stamps are the one part of the range I make from your artwork rather than my own. Send me your logo, I'll prepare it for stamping at the size you've chosen and email you a proof, and once you've approved it I'll make the stamp. Wood-mounted, made the same way as the rest of the range — photopolymer rubber on a UK-made beech handle. Available in four sizes from 50×50mm up to 130×130mm, suitable for branding, packaging, thank-you cards and any correspondence where a clean printed mark belongs. For ink, VersaFine Clair is what most logos end up paired with — black, deep navy or your brand colour all work; pick whichever sits right with the look you're after.

The proof stage matters. Once I have your artwork I prepare it at the exact stamp size, look for any lines that are too fine to hold ink reliably, and send the image back to you to sign off. If anything needs adjusting at that stage — a slight thickening of a hairline, an outline cleaned up — we sort it before the stamp is made.

For surfaces beyond paper and card — cotton, kraft, wood, tote bags — the same stamp works; you switch the ink. VersaCraft for fabric and wood (heat-set with an iron after stamping for permanence), Stazon for non-porous surfaces like acrylic, glass and metal.

Frequently asked questions

What artwork do you need from me?

Vector files (.ai, .eps, .pdf) give the cleanest result at any size. A high-resolution .png at 300dpi or higher also works. Avoid screenshots or low-resolution images — the stamp can only be as sharp as the artwork it's made from. If you're not sure whether your file will work, email it to me first and I'll let you know before you order.

How long does it take?

Allow 7–10 days from artwork approval to dispatch. Rush orders are sometimes possible — get in touch if you need it faster and I'll let you know.

What surfaces can I stamp on?

Paper, card, kraft, envelopes, cotton tote bags, fabric tags, wood and most uncoated surfaces. For fabric and wood, use VersaCraft and heat-set with an iron. For non-porous surfaces (acrylic, glass, metal), use Stazon.

What size should I order?

Most logos sit comfortably at 50×50mm to 80×80mm — large enough to read clearly on a packing slip or thank-you card, small enough to handle easily. Go larger (up to 130×130mm) if you'll be stamping shipping boxes, gift wrap or larger signage. The proof I send shows the logo at your chosen size before I make the stamp.

Will my logo come out clean and crisp?

Yes, provided the artwork is clean to begin with. Vector files give the sharpest impression. Very fine lines (under about 0.3mm) may not hold ink reliably, so I'll usually suggest small adjustments at the proof stage if I spot anything that won't print well. The stamp itself is durable and gives consistent impressions for years of regular use.
