They are stamped here with a Mexican heart or a leaf garland and they have also been paired with some border stamps and some stars. They work really well for decorating wrap and gift tags. Try stamping them in metallic ink. The ink pads I have used here are celestial copper, golden meadow, chianti, and strawberry versa fine. All of the Noolibird stamps are gorgeous, but the "Wild Swans over the River Valley" two stamps are exceptional. They are cut with such sensitivity and grace.
I took Nula's advice to use the Versa Fine Clair ink pads for these stamps, and not to press too firmly on the river landscape stamp, to prevent the ink flooding the background , as it is so finely cut - and the result is magic ! Thank you so much Nula ! I can't keep away from your shop !
