The hare is one of my most loved designs — I've used it in different forms over the years, but this scene, with the hare leaping before a full moon amongst a summer meadow of wild grasses and flowers, is the one that customers come back to most. You can recreate it exactly or build your own version using whichever stamps in the collection speak to you.
The foliage stamps — ferns, cow parsley, yarrow, oat grass, soft brome and shepherd's purse — are drawn as silhouettes that work beautifully layered at different depths to create a meadow effect. They're also useful on their own for nature journaling or botanical card-making.
For me this is the best sky scene for a Christmas card and it can be used with so many other animals; owl, hare, stag etc although the fox remains my favourite. The clarity and definition in this stamp is excellent. I'm very new to ink stamping but I'm learning quickly and having great detailed stamps makes it an absolute joy 😊
