This is one of my favourite stamps to make because the detail is so satisfying — a whole fishing village in 11×11cm, with boats in the harbour, stone cottages and all the texture of a hand-carved lino print.
It works beautifully on its own as a statement card, or you can build a whole coastal scene by pairing it with the Shell stamps or Rope stamp. I love it stamped in Twilight VersaFine Clair for a deep, inky, almost woodcut feel — or Atlantic blue for something lighter and more summery.
