The polar bear stamp makes a beautiful Xmas card.

Lovely stamp, very detailed. However I'm new to stamping and found it difficult to get a clear and crisp stamp. After I'd inked it up the print would appear blotchy in places especially on the finer details. The plain sky was not uniform and often appeared to have a sort of stripe running across it. So although it was a lovely stamp I wasn't confident using it. I did buy a VersaMark watermark ink pad to see if that helped. It did make an improvement overall but still got the uneven streaking across the sky.

The large sky area can be tricky when starting out — the VersaMark was a great instinct. Even pressure and a stamping block also make a big difference with larger stamps.
