Tomato Plant Stamp & Vine Tomatoes Rubber Stamps for Card Making & Garden Journals

There's something irresistible about a vine of ripening tomatoes — orange, red, deep burgundy, the occasional yellow stripe — and that variation in colour is exactly what makes these tomato rubber stamps so much fun to play with. Bold, bright and full of summer, perfect for card making, garden journals, and gift wrap that arrives looking like a sun-warmed allotment.

Each design began as an original lino cut in my studio. Where the strawberries are dainty, the tomatoes are punchy — I cut them with deliberately bold outlines so they read clearly even at a distance. The kind of stamp that's lovely to print big and confident across a card or a length of wrapping paper.

Two-colour stamping made simple

Each variant comes with its own little tomato stamp — a small separate stamp you ink up and press on top of the green plant or vine to drop a ripe tomato into place. Vary the colour as you go (orange here, red there, a deep burgundy in the corner) and the design really comes alive. No fiddly registration, no smudging — just stamp the plant, ink the little tomato, drop them in. Brilliant for beginners and a satisfying shortcut for anyone who's stamped for years.

A few ways to use them

Build a bold sheet of gift wrap by repeating the vine across brown kraft paper with a riot of red, orange and yellow tomatoes — perfect for a foodie's birthday. Use the corner vine to frame a recipe or a quote in a journal. Stamp the tomato plant onto a plain cotton tablecloth or napkin set using a VersaCraft fabric ink pad (a lovely housewarming gift). And the vine tomatoes trail beautifully across the top of a recipe card or kitchen notepad.

For something more atmospheric, layer the tomato plant inside the greenhouse stamp (from the wider Noolibird range) for a "tomatoes ripening in the greenhouse" scene — surround the greenhouse with herbs, grasses and tendrils for a proper kitchen-garden feel.
